To say a Hello....

Hi all.....

Thanks to all the moms that have introduced themselves here....lovely to meet you all....let me introduce myself, I'm 29, a mom of two boys, Sahil (3.5) and Siddharth (1.5), I'm a Cardiac Nurse, though currently on leave to take care of my two little guys at home...I'm a Gujju mom, I was born in India, but was raised mostly in Canada. My husband Kartik is also a Gujarati, a businessman, he and I are very much devoted to our kids. Our lives revolve around our two sons, and it has been a learning experience since the day my sons were born.

This Forum is a fantastic idea, and I intend to learn many things from you all. I did want to ask you all though - How important of a role does Prayer and religious beliefs play in your family, and in your children? Is it a part of your normal routine, are your kids familiar with Poojas, Bhajans and the like? I am trying to get my sons involved as much as I can. In my home, a daily form of prayer and worship is a must....my sons see me doing "Pooja",and they often sit next to me. They are too young to recite Mantras or Bhajans as such, but i do this so they are exposed to it at a very early age.

What are your thoughts on this?
